interior out so I can reach the top of the shifter to install a shorter throw shifter.
while the interior parts are out I will rewire my ipod/ipad/phone. too many inputs and power cables causing interference
to get to the bottom of the shifter I have to move the exhaust, so I will install its replacement at the same time.
with temps warming up, I’m hoping to dedicate an hour or two in the evenings after kids are in bed to the list of projects that mounted up over winter. focusing on these three projects that require a lot of the same parts to come off to be done.

right! “well, I mean I had to take the engine out to get to that one bolt... might as well upgrade the engine while it’s out...”

exactly. I needed to fix the exhaust after it got torn off end of last year, it has a temporary fix in place. So I asked for a short shifter for christmas because I knew the exhaust had to be out of the way. then figured I better do new bushings on the shifter, but why just those bushing might as well get the full kit, so I’ve committed myself to that. then I had to take out the interior part... so might as well fix that stereo issue... and then... and then... and then...
